This metal puzzle model kit is inspired by the deep-sea Anglefish. It has a flesh-like protrusion above its head, which looks like a small lantern. It is formed by the first dorsal fin gradually extending upward, so it is also called the lantern fish. The reason why the small lantern emits light is because there are glandular cells in the lantern that can secrete light pigment. Under the catalysis of luciferase, the light pigment reacts with oxygen to undergo slow chemical oxidation and emit light. Many fish in the deep sea have phototaxis, so small lanterns have become a powerful tool for Anglerfish to attract food.
Unique design: Combination with steampunk style. The colorful light bulb gradients in seven colors, the eyes are equipped with red LED lights, like bloodshot eyes, and the 24 sharp teeth highlight the ferocious atmosphere of the angler fish, and the leather fins add a touch of uniqueness.
Articulated structure: The mouth, side fins, and tail fins are all adjustable, so you can pose them according to your preferences. It comes with a base and can float in the air, similar to underwater sports.

J'ai adoré monter le poisson lanterne, cependant je n'ai mis que 4 étoiles parce que certains passages ne sont pas très clairs sur le plan. Il manque un pas à pas filmé ou des photos plus détaillées et prises de plusieurs côtés pour que l'on voie bien comment sont placées les pièces. Sinon tout est parfait...Il faut du temps et de la patience (et des doigts très fins!

I haven't yet start building the Anglerfish.
As I bought 4 different puzzles, I have started with the Sea-horse and, besides some difficluties on the intrepretations of the instruction manual, the building is great.
So far I've finished the sea-horse head and started the body.
I'm almost done building the lantern fish but i gotta say i think the hardest part about this was the threads in the teeth could use some improvement. It was near impossible to tighten them properly without using the pliers to grip them and a lot of force to get the screw in. Little side instructions on whether something should be completely tightened or left loose for a future step would be nice as well but it's not that big of a factor. Love the idea of these kinds of builds!
The lanternfish is incredibly beautiful and the steampunk style suits it perfectly. The instructions are clear and the assembly is very fun and never repetitive (In addition to the lantern fish I also assembled the octopus, which is inevitably more monotonous in terms of assembly procedure, although extremely beautiful too), I attach some photos taken
The result looks fantastic, I love it to bits! The assembly process was a bit tricky, as some parts didn't fit well and needed a bit of tweaking. One example: One screw was just too short, so I had to get rid of one part to be able to still fit the nut.
However, this piece is worth every penny and so much fun to build, I really enjoy Metalkitor products :)
